The Capital regions have more nurses than Schenectady. They have more than needed in 2020. The University of Albany has released in as study that Schenectady needs 26 percent less nurses. The centre director Jean Moore informed first time federal government to create a statistical model for measuring labor across the nation.

Moore told that the most interesting thing is that it shows variation both within regions and between regions that are related to RN shortfalls. The Capital Region has 11,000 RN  and it is a larger supply than many regions in New York. There are 178,200 nurses practicing in New York but they expect more increase in 2020. The information is directing countries to increase the number of candidates who are interested to join nursing course.
