Government Sir Paul Haddacks has appointed two cadets to assist him in his duties in 2009. An outstanding cadet is chosen every year and duties which include lieutenant Governor in official functions and attending certain receptions. He is giving employment to nurses indirectly.

In the phase of Adoption field, Liberty employees has also donated innumerable toys and raised over $800 for the Clinton County Ho Ho program to help which will answer the questions of Christmas wishes of children who have no sponsors. They are helping nursing for education.

The nursing shortage in the US is a biggest problem. The shortage is not due to a lack of interest in the profession. The problem is due to shortage of qualified clinical faculty to train the students. The UB School of Nursing has come up with an innovative approach at Flinders University of Australia that will improve the situation.

The research study at the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing at Loyola University in Chicago says that deficiency of Vitamin D may cause heart disease. They believe that the lack of sunshine during winter may decrease the level of Vitamin D in the body and harm cardiovascular health. Diet alone is not the only solution to this problem. One needs to get proper amount of sunshine.

High blood pressure and metabolic syndrome are some other diseases that are liable to make a patient suffer. Doctors suggest that vitamin D2 or D3 may decrease the risk of severe heart disease or death. So all the patients who suffer from heart problems, joint pains or depression should get their vitamin D level checked.
