LPN Programs

Shortage of nurses is a major problem in US, especially when it comes to rural areas. All the rural communities still need efficient nurses to provide better healthcare. Colleges that provide nursing programs are paying more emphasis towards rural training. All the RN and LPN programs program have a part of rural training. This encourages the nurses to opt for rural healthcare as profession.

Nearly 450 training spaces are being offered in rural communities. Jim Hunter, Chief Human Resources officer is very keen to improve the rural training settings. They have started rotating programs where more emphasis is on LPN programs. Although Hunter is very happy with the Manitoba Government’s efforts but is not satisfied. He says for future they do not need rotational programs but would like to see permanent programs.

The MSCTC runs RN and LPN programs which state licensed and never change. Their goal is now to get Chinese students enrolled in the numerous programs by fall 2009. Some MSCTC staff and Fergus Falls residents are going together to China in November to discuss Chinese enrollment in college programs. They will visit all the Chinese colleges and universities. This way they will come to know more about the education system in the country.

Their main focus is to get Chinese enrollment. The idea is that a Chinese student who completes a degree at MSCTC- Fergus Falls may go on to enroll in another MnSCU school or in the business college planned for the Regional Treatment Center (RTC). The nursing partnership will be a two plus two program. According to this plan Chinese students can complete two years of course from home universities and get trained for two years in RN or LPN programs from MSCTC.

New Zealand students have welcomed the allowance policy by 2012. Labour leader Helen Clark pledged to remove income test of parents in the Otago University.  1000 students want to talk to her after her flight was delayed. The news of allowance  made students thrilled as they have no longer borrow money from others to live. This was the time when people are suffering from shortage of all facilities like nursing, teaching and medication etc.

Along with the allowance facility, the leader also made students conscious about the premium given by them to continue the policy. The students need to pay the overdue after getting job. They also want to check and maintain details of allowance provided by the society.

Mercy and Mercy Southwest Hospitals are one of the most important parts of Catholic Health Care. This is the 8th largest health care in United States for patients. The centre has 49,000 employees. The centre is located in a valley of Central California, but they are providing the facilities of metropolitan areas.  The administration is planning to increase the strength the number of registered nurses. The joining candidates must be specialized in emergency care. The job will be of 12 hours, totally full time.

The Mercy South West was nominated as Best Hospital in Kern Country. The administration encourage the employees, which helps them to strengthen the performance and quality of their work. Some of the employees have devoted their precious 20 years of their life. They need more staff for expansion, so it is the best time for registered nurses to grab the opportunity of employment and progress in their lives.

The President and Chief Executive Officer, Lester Heyboer Jr., during his interview declared that there must be routine check up of outside complaints as well as those outside patients who fall in injuries. They also investigated about 50 allegations. The States complaints review team spent four days at the hospital.

 Heyboer told that hospital staff will file a follow-up plan to check their patients. The administration tried to remove the past complaints known by different surveys. The state ruled in their favor but if we check between the families we come to know about different problems faced by them. They are unable to get facilities provided by the hospitals.

Health Minister David Parirenyatwa announced that drug supplies at Zimbabwe’s public hospitals have increased by 70 percent in the past few months. The increase in drug facility has also increased the percent of cured patients. Treatment of diseases due to which many patients died has now become easy.

The drugs were imported and financed by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. Before the arrival of drugs some public hospitals were only admitting very ill patients and the remaining were send to private doctors. The government says only providing medicines is not the only solution, they need skilled personnel as well.

In times of uncertainty, prices rise. Many families try to cut their minimum expenditure they need for functioning. But when the minimum involves an unexpected spike in medical related expenses, then paying bills is an added challenge. At that time in Blairsville, a fund has been established at a local bank to help people who are suffering from cancer.

Donations were provided to the candidates whose medical insurance are not covering the expenses, may be dropped or mailed off. This is really a good step
for helping those people who were not sufficient to take medical facilities by themselves.

Identification bracelets for patients admitted are very common in most of the hospitals around the world. Hj Siti Mariam Hj Md Jaafar, the CEO of hospital said that one of the main reasons of errors occurring in the hospital is the incorrect identification of the patient. The use of ID bracelets is not something new at RIPAS Hospital, but the use of it had previously not been stressed by the management. CEO addressed nurses and doctors emphasizing the importance of wrist bands’ use to ensure patients safety.

Efforts to use this procedure will also show the hospital’s commitment towards patients’ improvement and welfare. It will also decrease the death of patients lacking medical help because of unidentification.
